5. Implementation
Your structure, your contents and your design concept can be easily realized and edited in the Kontextlab CMS. First you create your structure in the Canvas-Editor. There you can adapt the design, select the functions and insert the content. Once all diagram points have been created in the Canvas Editor, you can also insert the content using the pop-up form. For each newly created dot, a form field is automatically created there. For additions to your map we also offer a few options like a glossary, an editorial, a list of sources or social sharing settings.
Here is an overview of the potential functions of the elements
Visual element (with or without icon)

Dots: All elements visible on the map are created with dots. These can be individually designed, linked to content or left without a function.
Topic dot with content

Popups: The containers for the contents, which can be assigned to each topic aspect, appear as popups starting from the dot. These can be narrow or medium wide.
Topic dot for Long-Read-Article

Special case Long-Read-Article: Unlike the content popups, there is a separate form for particularly long content. If this is linked with a dot, a wide popup appears.
Dot as zoom element

Click'n Zoom: Dots can also be used as zoom elements. The URL of the desired zoom level/point/map section is simply connected to the point as a direct link.
Dot with direct link to External

Direct link: A visual element can also be used as a direct link to external content.
