Creating Elements

In the drawing area you see in the Cavas Editor, you can set, design and assign functions to all your visual elements: Icons, nodes with content, direct links to external websites or documents. Learn more about the possible functions in the chapter “Implementation”. 

Draw Dot

Doubleclick anywhere on the drawing area – you drew your dot. The appearance of the dot can be defined individually, with object templates or via the global design settings. The visibility of the dot automatically extends over one layer only, but can be customized.

 

 

1. In the Canvas Editor, all elements have numbers that are not visible in the live view.
2. Each dot can be designed individually. If you select the dot, the settings window opens.
3. The number of zoom levels defined in the map options appears on the right side of the editor.

Drawing a connecting line

Select one of the dots with the cursor and click and then doubleclick on it. A plus sign can now be seen next to the dot number. Click on the second point: The connecting line is drawn. The appearance of the line can be defined individually, with object templates or via the global design settings.

 

 

Clicking on the line [1] opens the settings window [2]. Define the appearance, the line label and the visibility. 

Pro-Tip:

The visibility of the line is copied from the first selected point, but can be adjusted individually at any time.
